Undergraduate Students

During the academic year, we typically have couple undergraduates involved in the experiments, often for Independent Study courses and honors project PHYS 390, PHYS 490, and PHYS 491, and/or working as Undergraduate Student Assistants. We often take on undergraduate researchers through the work study program. During the summer, we accept undergraduates from other universities. They can get involved in the ongoing research. An interested student should apply to the Koç University Summer Research Program (KUSRP). Students from other universities can also visit Koç University Microphotonics Research Laboratory for periods ranging from three months to a year, or even more. Funding can be obtained from International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) Türkiye. Requirements: Some laboratory experience or knowledge of optoelectronics or programming is desirable.

High School Students

During the summer, we accept high school students. They can get involved in the solar powered microvehicle projects. An interested student should apply to the Koç University Summer Research Program (KUSRP). Requirements: Some laboratory experience or knowledge of optoelectronics or programming is desirable.
